​
ISIS is grateful to the many visionary institutions and individuals who have committed funds for the development of the Zoological Information Management System (ZIMS) application. Zoos and aquariums –143 in all – have generously supported the ZIMS, phase 1 project.

Add in the $8 million estimate of the time invested by 500 volunteers from around the world to conceive, design, test, review and teach ZIMS software, and it is clear that this community is deeply dedicated to the success of this huge and complex project.
