Error 008 - No more variable space available:
This error is usually seen when you attempt to run MedARKS after running some other software packages. For example, using WordPerfect and then going to use MedARKS 4 will often trigger this error. It appears that WordPerfect is making a change in the computer memory that persists even after you exit from the WordPerfect program and this change in memory causes the error in MedARKS. The solution is to reset memory by restarting (rebooting) your computer. If you pay attention to the conditions that generate this error, you can probably determine which software package is causing the problem on your computer. If you then get in the habit of restarting your computer after running the offending software package, you can avoid this error completely.
